During your first visit with a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) at Kamloops Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre, your therapist will ask you questions related to the nature of your visit. This could include questions about previous injuries, general health, medical conditions, medications, allergies, etc. Your RMT will then perform an assessment to determine the best approach to treatment. Assessment is also done on an ongoing basis during treatment. Your RMT will assess your body’s response to treatment by looking at muscle tone, flexibility, alignment, and other factors.
